In recent years, natural disasters have devastated homes and communites across the U.S.. As seen in New Orleans, New York, Puerto Rico, and Houston - along with countless other cities and states across the country - hurricanes continue to threaten an already dwindling affordable housing stock, leaving families homeless and destabilized. Federal, state, and local investments have supported relief efforts in these areas, but often fall short given significant need. This community serves as a place to discuss disaster relief activities, share stories of hope and recovery, and spread knowledge about how to best support communities in-need and at-risk.
