Webinar: ConnectHomeUSA ISP Stakeholders’ Participation in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program

Join this webinar to learn how ConnectHomeUSA Internet Service Provider (ISP) stakeholders are participating in the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program and how you can help residents sign up for it. Webinar participants will have a unique opportunity to hear directly from these ISPs: AT&T; Comcast; Cox; PCs for People; Starry; and T-Mobile. The Federal Communications Commission's launched the EBB program on May 12, 2021 to provide a temporary monthly subsidy of up to $50 for broadband service to low-income Americans during the pandemic. The EBB program will also provide a one-time subsidy of up to $100 towards the cost of a computing device through participating providers. This webinar is part of an ongoing series that aims to help ConnectHomeUSA communities, other PHAs, and tribes achieve their goals in connecting households to affordable broadband service, devices, and digital literacy training.
