Unlocking Resources: Approaches to Funding Resident Services

Council of Large Public Housing Authorities
Washington, District of Columbia
Tuesday, March 25, 2025 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Now more than ever, organizations are facing increasing constraints to funding programs and services for residents. While identifying funding for resident services has always been a challenge, current financial pressures for affordable housing operators and service partners are continuing to mount - at a time when resident services have never been more critical to supporting residents’ housing stability and health. CORES recognizes the importance of developing a funding model to help sustain services, which can include a diverse array of funding sources to ensure that residents continue to have access to robust, and relevant, resources. In this webinar, we will explore proven and developing pathways to pay for resident services, as well as strategies to ensure that your funded programs align with the priorities of residents, community needs, and your organization’s mission. We will hear from three CORES certified organizations - Enterprise Community Development, Better Housing Coalition, and Columbia Residential - that have developed a variety of partnerships and approaches to support resident services. We will explore leveraging different partnerships to help pay for services, developing strong fundraising strategies and relationships with donors, and identifying avenues that for-profit providers can leverage to supplement services. Make sure to register for this upcoming webinar on Tuesday, March 25th from 3:00-4:00 PM ET!
