This two-part event will begin with a webinar on the Boston Neighborhood Change Interactive Map, a new tool developed by the Joint Center for Housing Studies that allows users to visualize a variety of demographic, social, and economic changes in the Boston Metropolitan Statistical Area between 1990 and 2016. The webinar will be facilitated by Daniel McCue (Senior Research Associate) andAlexander Hermann (Research Analyst).

After the webinar, those attending the event in person are welcome to stay for a hands-on training session (bring your laptop) in how to use the new tool, which uses census-tract level data from the 1990 and 2000 decennial censuses as well as the 2010 and 2016 American Community Surveys and which was funded, in part, by The Boston Foundation.
