Leadership Transitions that Make
Organizations Stronger

Have you ever thought about how your organization would weather a leadership change? Has the board of directors suggested succession planning and you don’t know where to start? Have you considered how to use a leadership change to live up to your promise to center racial equity in your work?

Please join us for a candid conversation on leadership, transitions, and equity with LIFT and Prosperity Now on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Aspen Institute. Please register here.

When organizations go through leadership transitions, there is a lot at risk – reputation, stability, funding and vision, to name a few. In this conversation with the immediate past and current leadership of LIFT and Prosperity Now, we will discuss how they approached that momentous transition, what they have learned and the future ahead. LIFT and Prosperity Now, two field innovators, share the mission of building families’ financial capability and prosperity. Both organizations embraced and have worked to embed a racial equity lens throughout their organizations as well as prepared for and completed successful leadership transitions with founding and longstanding CEOs.

What was the behind the scenes view they can share now? What lessons were learned? What were the breakthroughs and blindspots? What is the unfinished business ahead of them?
