Austin, TX

Education Leads Home 2022 is a first-of-its-kind convening designed specifically to improve outcomes for students experiencing homelessness via cross-sector team building and collaborative action-planning. This two-day intersectional event will highlight proven practices from across the country, bringing stakeholders together for facilitated action-planning.

Attendees will receive hands-on guidance and support from expert practitioners, so they can begin implementing those strategies as soon as they return to their communities, and develop them over time.

Homelessness is a complex, multi-sector issue. In order to ensure the educational success of homeless students, we need all hands on deck - we need teams! Therefore, ELH is modeled for team participation.

Initially, registration will be open only to teams. A team consists of at least two people representing different agencies/service sectors. For example, a team could be one person from a school district, and one person from a Head Start agency, housing/homeless services agency, institution of higher education, or local or state government. Registration may be open to individuals later in the process.
