Community Eligibility Kickoff

Community Eligibility season is upon us! Schools across the country have struggled with the transition back to normal school nutrition operations. During the 2022-2023 school year, the first year that schools have returned to the pre-pandemic three-tiered payment system, thousands more schools across the country are participating in community eligibility, and we encourage all eligible school districts and schools to take a close look at adopting CEP for the 2023-2024 school year. To assist with this, FRAC is hosting webinars throughout the spring to support schools and districts as they consider community eligibility for the upcoming school year. Community eligibility can help by allowing high-need schools to offer free meals to all their students without having to collect meal applications. Join FRAC as we look ahead to the 2023-2024 school year and discuss the basics and benefits of community eligibility, along with resources and tools available to aid in the adoption process.
