Bio Andrew Johnson has over twenty years of professional leadership and direct service experience in non-profit and government agencies focused on the housing, homeless and pubic child welfare systems. Currently a Senior Program Manager at CSH, Mr. Johnson is responsible coordinating strategic alignment of CSH’s family and youth efforts and for spearheading the One Roof effort to break the intergenerational cycle of homelessness, child welfare involvement, and poor outcomes for families with children. Prior to joining CSH, Mr. Johnson served in a leadership role with the Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Child Welfare where he oversaw and transformed a number of prevention, family preservation, youth development and collaborative programs. He also spent almost 10 years with a statewide public housing authority where he served in a leadership role with oversight of homeless programs and many of the supportive housing programs for homeless families and persons with disabilities, as well as data and technology systems. During his time at this agency, he also coordinated the Office of Homeless Youth Services, HMIS, Family Unification Program, Shelter plus Care and other supportive housing programs. Prior to this he gained valuable direct service and leadership experience in several non-profits, including several years with an organization providing a range of housing solutions and supports for homeless families. Mr. Johnson earned a master’s degree from Regis University.
