Webinar

During 2020 the number of young people out of school and out of work (opportunity youth) skyrocketed, surpassing 10 million. In response, a myriad of programs helped young people find food, survival income, and even reconnect to school and work. Building on decades of experience, youth employment programs helped hundreds of thousands of young adults begin the arduous path of recovering from the pandemic.

Join us for the next in a series of interactive seminars about economic recovery for young people. Jointly organized by the American Youth Policy Forum (AYPF) and the National Youth Employment Coalition (NYEC), this conversation will focus on adaptations and successes during the pandemic – and what they tell us about how to achieve an equitable recovery.

RSVP here to join this briefing only, or register for NYEC’s All Youth Connecting Forum to attend the briefing and 40 other sessions.

This event will be followed by meetings with congressional staff on Friday, June 25, starting at 1 pm. Interested in attending? Sign up here! There is no commitment.
