As liaisons, social workers, educators and service providers, our work should be informed by research and the lived experiences of children and youth. This webinar will bring recent research to life as three SchoolHouse Connection Young Leaders reflect on Chapin Hall’s Missed Opportunities research and their own experiences. They will discuss key findings from the research; how these issues impacted their K-12 and higher education; and insights for changes in policy and practice.

Voices of Youth Count (VoYC) is a national initiative designed to fill gaps in the nation’s knowledge about the scope and scale of youth homelessness, as well as the life circumstances and experiences of runaway and unaccompanied homeless youth between the ages of 13 and 25 years old.
