Medicaid is a key resource for better outcomes for children and families, but the best way to leverage Medicaid is not always clear. In this webinar, health policy expert Elisabeth Wright Burak and former Colorado Medicaid Director Gretchen Hammer share specific strategies for public leaders and policy advocates to maximize the impact of Medicaid to support children and the adults in their lives. Resources we will discuss include Burak’s paper, Promoting Young Children’s Healthy Development in Medicaid and CHIP, and the new two-generation Medicaid checklist Hammer and her team developed from their work in Colorado.
