Dear ConnectHomeUSA Community Champions,

A growing number of cities have begun to realize the importance of helping their residents access the Internet. To accomplish this important goal, a handful of cities have created positions dedicated specifically to the task of digital inclusion. One such city, Detroit, which has one of the highest rates of residents who lack high-speed Internet access of any city in the nation, recently hired Joshua Edmonds, its first Digital Inclusion Director. We are fortunate to have Edmonds join us to share details about the exciting digital inclusion initiatives planned in Detroit.

Tune in to also hear from Julia Fearing, Manager of the ConnectHomeUSA program at the Detroit Housing Commission (DHC). Fearing will share DHC’s current efforts to increase digital connectivity.

Join us to learn more about how CHUSA communities can work together with their cities to advance digital inclusion efforts.

Stay tuned for registration details!
